Not as bad as I would have guessed. Do you have a similar morph on his testicular shrinkage?

Not to be a killjoy, but cartilage keeps growing as you age, so your ears and nose are always larger when you get older. Go look at pictures of your grandparents when they were young and pics of them old.

And he appears to have gotten happier.

His face got wider, and his neck got bigger, but his hat size does not seem to have changed much.

Sure looks alot happier!

Face & neck get bigger whether it is additional fat or muscle, Barry added some of both after juicing. I do think his hat size increased, & that would be solely a result of drugs, barring some terrible disease. I have seen other pictures where his hat looks stuffed on the top of his head. It is ironic that he looks happier, when if anything overall he grew more sullen & truculent.

Acromegaly – (per Traber) the condition is caused byhyperfunction of the eosinophilic cells of the anterior lobe of the pituitary, resulting in excess production of growth hormone

Or by the injection of HGH…

There aren’t any recorded cases of acromegaly caused by HGH injection. Bonds clearly doesn’t have it. I suggest you do an image search on acromegaly.

Who said his hat size got bigger? This is an urban legend. HGH does NOT cause the skulls of adults to grow larger.

Who said his hat size got bigger? His team’s equipment manager said it in a court of law. Oops.

Thanks for the laugh.

HGH can absolutely cause one’s head to grow. In an adult very large doses of HGH can cause the skull to thicken.

You really should fully know what you’re talking about before putting yourself out there as one who would know.

Which nobody thinks Bonds had. It results in disproportionate growth in a few areas. HgH usually does for the skull, including the jaw. And it is distinct in that internal organs like the stomach also grow-that is why you see some body builders who are extremely low body fat whose stomachs pooch out.

My Dad had disproportionately large hands & feet, though not as extreme as most with Acromeglia, at a shade over 6′ he had size 15 shoe.

This is simply false. In adults, HGH does not cause bones to grow larger. In old people, it might prevent bone deterioration or improve bone density. In an adult, an enlarged skull is not a potential side effect of HGH.

Once again you have no clue on what you’re talking about. Human Growth Hormones taken in large doses by an adult can absolutely thicken one’s skull.

Did HGH change the shape of his nose? Neither HGH nor anabolic steroids can enlarge an adults’ skull. I don’t know where the myth of Bonds’ “enlarged” skull arose, but it’s just that–a myth.

Once again, you sound very uninformed, if not ignorant. My background is in nutritional supplement, hanging been an executive with one of the largest nutritional supplement corporations, and also as a body builder. HGH taken by an adult in high doses can absolutely cause one’s skull to thicken.

This is such a crock of crap, your head will not grow from using the amounts of HGH used by ball players. Pro Bodybuilders will use up to 6-10 iU’s daily. Bonds if using was using maybe 1-2 iu’s Daily and that will not grow your head ! Lmao at the ignorance regurgitated.

As for the picture, looks as if he put on a lil size, gained some weight, in other words got older. Listen, ball players used doses of Anabolics that helped in recovery, the amount they used will not turn you into a champion or a record holder. 200mg of Testosterone weekly can be great for yiu. Pro bodybuilders will use 1000 plus mg of test weekly to give you an idea.

Well for the twenty million dollars a year contract that he signed after taking those supplements who could blame him? You do not think that many other people would do the same thing? Ask somebody working on a construction sight if they would do it too?
